On January 6th and 7th, 2025, the KMP Office had the privilege of hosting the World Bank Social Team for a detailed visit to its office and all three under construction sites where contractors are actively mobilized. The visit was marked by constructive discussions and valuable feedback on several key social components, including:
• Compensation and Livelihood Restoration Plan (CLRP): Reviewing implementation progress and addressing challenges to ensure the plan aligns with the needs of affected communities.
• KMP Website: Receiving appreciation for its functionality and transparency, alongside recommendations for further improvement.
• Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM): Deliberating on the GRM process to strengthen its efficiency and responsiveness.
• GRM Dashboard and Data Management: Feedback to improve dashboard for effective tracking of complaints.
The World Bank Social Team insights and feedback are instrumental in refining the project strategies to better meet social commitments and align with World Bank Standards.
